I couldn't get him to look at the camera and smile. He seemed oddly nervous. I wonder why? There really is a 500' dead-vertical drop right behind him.

Although it's his most ambitious ascent, it's not his highest. Mt. Maude, that thing above his back, 9080', is. He slept on it a month before.
A guy who likes to brag so much should get a more macho dog?
