Pacific Crest Trail. We spent the night on the lower summit of Chikamin Peak at about 7000', watching the Perseid meteor showers on a dark clear night. We met several PCT through hikers who'd started in Mexico in April, and we spoke with a Wyoming couple who we'd meet again in September just south of the Canadian border, only hours from their goal. We'll also meet a NC guy who has a corgi back home named Indy because the found him on the 4th of July in a dumpster.
The background peaks are Overcoat and Chimney Rock, two of the most prominet peaks near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington State.
