OK first I have to clear one thing up. The dog is Hercules and my name is Taffy. I know it is a popular name for dogs, because I read it on a name your dog website. It is a bit of an odd name for a person. :o)...

 Second it was some form of shredded paper, take your pick paper towel, Kleenex, newspaper, receipts...he loves them all.

hilarious.  my husband calls this the "double turkey leg".  what "not bad" thing was taffy doing?
