Sadly this picture was taken only months before Jasper died. He had Addison's disease (he had a rare version that struck quickly and killed him the same day), a genetic disorder that would have shown up in his parents. If he had been bred by a responsible breeder, they would have known. So he was born into a situation like that, ended up with someone who didn't care for him and then was finally taken to the Humane Societyk, where I found him. For one year of his life he got to be the healthy, happy dog you see on the right. It's not a year I regret. He was everything I ever wanted in a dog, playful, smart, adorable and so much more. I miss him every day. His time was far too short, but he introduced me to corgis and he's the reason Ariel is with me today.

Wow, what a difference. I'm so glad you found him He looks like a healthy, happy doggie now.
