I love the idea of turning them into Christmas tree decorations! They are way too cute to eat!

They look too cute to eat! You should make old fashioned x-mas tree decorations :) Spray them over with painting glaze to keep em from going bad hehe!

Thanks!..yes i baked them, i found an Italian iced cookie recipe on foodnetwork.com (it was an ok recipe, the cookies could have been a little sweeter); the icing was just milk, powered sugar, egg whites, almond flavoring, and food coloring, i dipped them in the white first, let them dry then took a spoon to drizzle on the other colors and a toothpick to do the nose and stripes...when i have time i'm going to find another recipe, maybe just for regular sugar cookies, and probably take more time on the icing...i found the cookie cutters on http://www.thelittlefoxfactory.com/cutterselection.html ....it was really cheap and they have a ton of dog breeds...

I know I am asking for too much, but did you baked them? How did you decorated them? Great job!
