My boy would only fetch things he chose.  If he brought something then that was the only thing he would fetch!  I would pick he favorite things and try to get him to fetch and if he didn't want to he didn't.  He is funny but a good boy.

No he loves fetch buy always finds extras to bring on his own! ;-)
