Alysha,  I had to help his muscles adjust to the new pose first by holding a treat above his head while holding his front paws while he stood on his hind legs for a second or two. Then with time the muscles strengthened and he could sit.

I'm trying to teach my sophie to do that! but she just cant get the hang of it
