It is amazing how smart they can be.  Enjoy the great dogs as it sounds like they are a good combination.

@Lois, she is so smart that I would not be surprised if I saw her drive off with my car one day with a brick on the gas and her paws on the steering wheel.  She'd probably teach our Chihuahua/Maltese mix, Louie how to move the brick from the gas to the break on command!  They're quite a pair.

She probably thinks you are giving her driving lessons and she need to focus and learn everything she can.
