Thanks for the answers! I love his markings. He's got black liner around his eyes and warpaint looking markings on his cheekbones. He's already changed since we brought him home and I can't wait to see how he'll grow :)

His color and markings will change as he ages but he will still be cute.

Tris have black as well as red and while. Payton looks like a sable with some black and/or dark red/brown/black.  That may not be the correct definition but is is close.  He is a little doll what ever he is.

What does tri mean? and Sable? I'm sure someone explained once...but its a whole new thing to have a corgi!

I just had a litter of pups and kept their tails. All the Sable pups had that dark stripe on their tail. One even had a tiny white stripe over the dark stripe. I fell in love with the tails. Wish I could have kept one ....or two puppy ;)

I don't think they normally have striped tails but he is part tri right?  That would explain it.

I had the same toys for my Corgi's and they chewed the ball off, they love the furry end :) Cute pup with a tail!
