This crag is easy to get to, but just to the left it drops about 500'.
The dogs appear to have a normal, sane fear of heights and I haven't observed any inclination to do anything stupid.
The can underneath him is the summit register. As usual, he claims the first ascent by a male tricolored Welsh corgi on an even-numbered Sunday without supplemental oxygen.
The black speck above Al's ear is an insect. Curiously, various insects (commonly ladybugs) congregate on mountain summits in summer.
The distant peak is called Whitehorse, near Darrington.
