This is sandy.Sandy came into my life 5 years ago.I found her along side a gravel road all scratched up and covered with ticks and fleas.It was 3:30 AM and I almost didn't see her.I stopped and put her in my truck.We went home and at first daylight a trip to the vet.After a couple days there she was almost mine.I spent the rest of the day trying to find out who owned her.No one clamed her,no one answered my ad in the paper.It was common practice for city people to bring their unwanted animals out their and let them go.At the time I found sandy I had 22 dogs,2 cats 1 cat had been declawed.2 horses.I had a pretty big place so I had plenty of room.And every body played nice except for my new found friend.I didn't know it but I found out that corgis like to rule the house.No one would eat any thing until sandy was done.I had 6 great Pyrenees 2 Dobermans and the rest were just mixed breeds.I was real worried abut that they would fight so when I went to work I took sandy to a friends house then take her home after work.That weekend I just sat I watched how every one would act around a high pitched barking dog.Every body backed down from her and she always got her way from eating to she was the only one who was going to stay on my bed at night.I was told last aug.i had pancreatic cancer.I was going to have to move to town because of my condition.I found everyone a good home.It took driving to Ark.Texas,and Missouri.NO one was going to the pound.Thats when sandy and java the cat with no claws became my small but happy family.Sandy knows my moods and I don't know how but she knows when I'm sick,she will sit on the bed and nudge me until I get up and moving.I sometimes don't want to get out of bed because of pain but sandy wont take no.The only reason why ive keep going is because of her.Im pretty sure someone had the meeting planed Shes my girl.
