This was my first "rescue". Short is a 3-year-old purebred Pembroke that had 2 litters of pups and needed a new life where she wouldn't have to be a "momma dog". She now lives with a wonderful woman and her long-term boyfriend in a nice part of town where she has full reign of the yard and has been spayed.
