Ollie is rescue #2 and my first foster. He spent the first 7 months of his life in a crate away from human contact other than for feeding. He is a fantastic dog that has a perky attitude and a curly tail and curled ears for extra charm. He was featured on the Daily Corgi on May 9 as part of "Wednesdays Adoptables" and he has found his forever home. He is getting neutered May 14, is UTD on shots as of today, and will be going to his happy ever after around May 23 :)

You have done a great thing by allowing a rescue to come into your life, Lois. Keep up the good work, I am sure you have found out that it is worth it! :)
It is good of you to help transition the animals. I adopted a rescue and it is hard to tell what her history was but the rescue service probably had more animals than they could care for and maybe not enough food. I have treated her for hookworm, ear infection, urinary tract infection and am still treating for heart worms. We are doing a slow treatment on that. She needed a hernia operation. She is obsessed with food and I struggle to keep her weight under control while giving her opportunities to eat many and varied things.
This is great news!!! I'd love to do a follow-up update on The Daily Corgi. Mind dropping me a line? thedailycorgi@gmail.com. Thanks!

He is very sweet, Lois. This was the first night we had him and he has been on a bit of weight since then. He was definitely thin and under-cared for.
He looks sweet and healthy but thin. So glad he has found a home.
