7200' summit bivouac. On the 2nd night, we knocked the tent down and watched sky TV all night, with Al in the sleeping bag to keep (me) warm. This is the tent fly only, no floor or insect netting; with stakes and pole, it is about 1.5 lbs. Fits gear, 1 people, 2 corgis, leashed at night. Pitch it so you get morning sun in the door for breakfast in bed.

Just wondering, when  you are at that elevation, do you see any sign of other wildlife. Bears, for example? or do they stay below the tree line.

It looks like you are camped right on the edge of the world!  Too scary for me!
