I know the feeling. Long dogs wake us up and we have to as you say, put things beyond the reach of the nose!!!!

Randy is primary interested in food as most corgis or most dogs are!!!!!

Unfortunately, Stella has just learned in the past week or so that she can get things off of our counters in the kitchen. We now have to work to make sure we leave a nose's length between any items and the edge of the counter or else she will find it for sure :-)

It really helps to be long.  My previous corgis didn't have any idea of what their length allowed them to reach but my current boy reaches way too much.
