This was a long day, 13 hrs. (includes 2 hrs. loafing at the 6000' summit). 4300' gain on rough trail and snow. Al seems to be back in his game, but I still fear for his leg injury.
Last August, we slept atop the broad peak near the right, watching the Perseid meteor showers. The tooth to its right was too much even for Al.

Is that like going up a 4300 story building?  Or more?  How old is Al?  My dogs and I could never do that not even at their peak.
