Thanks, she was born 3/29/09. It looks like Burleigh is staying dark also. Someone said it was all in the tips of the ears too. If they're black, they should stay a black tri. I guess time will tell.

Congrats!! She's a beauty! Looks like she's going to remain black headed to me. I think the Groucho Marx eyebrows are a dead giveaway. My redheaded tri, Porter, was blacker when we got him at 11 weeks, but the black faded pretty quickly. Our black headed tri, Burleigh, still has some reddish downy fur on the back of his head, but it seems to be fading replaced w/mostly black dog hair vs. puppy down. I'm thinking they must be about the same age? Burleigh was born 4/5/09.
