I couldn't tell you, Jan- they never stop swimming. This is grim, but I bet they would keep an unconcious dog afloat for a short time ( if in a boating accident or something ), they have a little chin float. Shuddder. Hopefully they will only be to enhance water play!

Those are the cutest life vests ever. Do they really keep the dogs afloat well? Could they stop swimming and still float?
