And yes, she lost quite a bit of that dark hair on her face. The snow pictures are from when she was about 4-5 months old. She is almost 1 now and the fall pictures are taken two days ago. There are still a few darker areas but it has lightened up a lot compared to when she was a puppy.

She seems to shed quite a bit about twice a year but that's about it. The Greyhound works very well for her. I found a  really good one (not sure it's authentic since I heard those are very expensive and I only paid about $20 for mine) and that's what I use for her coat mostly, along with a brush now and then. I had initially bought a Furminator as well but did not care for it all that much.

Did she loose most of the dark hair on her face?

The fluffs don't shed as much as the regular corgis, THANK HEAVENS.  Where as, my mix breed (with some corgi) is like pig pen as there is cloud and path of short hair everywhere she goes.  When ever you pet her there is a pile and Randy don't seem to leave much of anything. Of course, he doesn't have much since I just trimmed him a few days ago.  I do use brushes and rakes on him, I should check the Greyhound.  I do have quite a bit of hair from his last 2 trims.

The Dirt Devil is totally worthless on anything else besides wood floors. I just hate having to wrestle with the regular vacuum which is heavy and difficult to maneuver. Dirt Devil will be a live saver in a Corgi home though, just for those routine clean-ups. I bought mine on Amazon for something like $24 and it was a great choice. Furminator does wonders, yes, as far as removing hair from those deeper fur layers. I am not sure I love what it does to the coat overall (seems to leave it rough somehow) so it's not my favorite tool. The Greyhound comb is. We also have a load of fun with clipping nails and trimming tummy fur. She's so good about everything though (minus the nail clipping). When you decide to start grooming again, I'd try that Greyhound. I think it's about $20 on Amazon (they say the *authentic* ones which are 5x more expensive are the best but the one I have works great, too).

You're welcome:)

That would explain! THANK YOU for the Dirt Devil heads up.. We also have wood floors-which I hate, I've always lived in places with carpets, and my feet are always cold now lol,-and it's like awful.. Any light hits the floor, and it looks like they are textured intricately haha!!:P I would looooove to have lint rollers everywhere, but we never remember to grab them, and I should probably brush him a bit more, especially since I don't have the Furminator, though I've heard it does wonders haha. Only a couple times a week. It used to be daily, but he had so many scabs on his bum from chewing, that I laid off for a while, and haven't started back up again.

Thank you for the kind words!!

You know, it's actually not that terrible!!!! I have a Furminator which I use on her once a week and then twice a week she gets a thorough combing with one of those Greyhound combs which helps prevent matting. We have wood floors and having a Dirt Devil makes it really easy to keep it clean. I won't lie, we do have a lint roller in each car, each backpack/purse and random ones throughout the house. Maybe the worst shedding is yet to come but so far, regular grooming has saved us :)

Awhh she is so beautiful:)

Fluffs are always so gorgeous. I can't imagine the shedding though.. Twixter has fur EVERYWHERE in our apartment, even our storage room, which he is not allowed in, and has only been in once, while we were putting our bikes away! It must be crazy at your place lol:P
