Tien - Thank you for your sweet comments about Sophie! She has an interesting spirit! You know Tien, I didn't get Sophie from a breeder, I rescued her from a back yard litter of unsocialized puppies at 4 months old. I read your post and then looked online and you are right - she is considered sable! Thank you so much! (Even my Vet called her a tri-color)!

Your Sophie is adorable! =) There's something so inquisitive and smart in her eyes. And I looove her beautiful coat. She looks more sable than tri-color though, especially with the even blend of brown and black. You sure she's not just sable?
