Thanks! I know, I <3 his tail, too. He weighs about 30 lbs. The last time he was weighed was several months ago and he was 29.4 then but now I'm fairly certain he's filled out a bit. He was really skinny when we got him. I don't know how high he is at the shoulder... thanks for the tip about the harness. The people we adopted him from suggested using a harness because Howie is a very skittish dog and they thought that a regular collar would make him more afraid on walks vs a harness.

We don't know anything at all about what he's mixed with, just that he is a mix and that his brother was all black! Any thoughts? I don't suspect lab because our previous corgi mix was a lab/corgi mix and his ears were floppy and his fur was different then Howie's. Howie's fur is sooo soft, and he sheds ridiculous amounts haha.

OMD, this looks like my "fantasy dog" -- a corgi with a big fluffy otter-tail and maybe just *slightly* longer legs. How big is he? Hard to tell from the photo; he doesn't look any bigger than a purebred Pem here.
Is his parentage certain, or is lab ancestry speculation? How high is he at the shoulder?
Watch out for the fit on that harness -- we had trouble with a harness rubbing a sore on the collarbone, maybe too tight or too loose.
You're helping to start a Movement -- I can't imagine how anybody would want to dock a tail after seeing something like that one.
