Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Zoey... or, it is now. It was probably something else before, but I guess that doesn't matter now. My story is pretty fuzzy, but my future is bright. About a week ago, I got away from my home and didn't know how to get back. It's about 110 degrees here right now, so I was pretty happy when Animal Control picked me up and put me in one of their their air conditioned trucks. I hung out at the shelter for a while, got myself a drink and a meal. And then I waited.. and waited.. and waited. Five days went by and nobody ever came for me. Why didn't they come find me?
Then my luck changed. My new mom and dad came and visited me. The next day, I got to go with them to a new home. I have a new little brother-- he is pretty annoying, but I'll learn to live with him. I got cleaned up at the groomer's and I feel like a million bucks. I think I'm really going to like it here.
Even though I'm naturally well-behaved, it's become apparent that I'm going to have to learn some commands if I want to stay here. That's okay-- I'm up to the challenge. There's lots of dogs like me at the shelter. Luckily, I got out. Many don't. If you can, would you please help other homeless dogs in your area? We all have a story to tell.
Thanks,
Zoey

Wow, Zoey is such a beautiful Corgi:)
awww, glad you found a great home Zoey and how fun to have a brother even if he can be annoying, he loves you. Our Tucker has been with us for 10 months tommorrow, and is glad to be out of the shelter life and in a forever home with a brother as well. :)
