We're at 8100' on the NW buttress of Fortress Mt. looking south. The volcano at right is Glacier Peak. The peak at far left is Buck Mt., 8500 or so, which Al has climbed. The skyline peaks are called the Dakobed Range. Washington Cascades, Glacier Peak Wilderness. We're about 20 miles from the road.
