Al & Gwynn have each spent a lot of time in the country between here and Glacier Peak (most remote of Washington's 5 volcanoes), including that smaller peak at left-center (trail to the top, just a walk). We spent the night here, 5800', perfect early summer weather. It always rains out here, so we almost never get a good day on a weekend.
Al will hike around this volcanoe with me the following September, when almost all this snow will be gone.
