About Me:: I enjoy playing videogames like Resident Evil Series, Metal Gear Solid Series, Final Fantasy Series, and I love animals, especially my corgis, Kupo and Naomi and my other two chihuahua/beagle mixes, Jewels and Calliope!

About My Corgi(s):: My Corgi, Kupo, will be 2 in April. I got him when he was 8 weeks old. I fell in love with him the first time I saw him. I got him online from a breeder. I had to pick him up from an airport, he had to travel from Missouri to Texas! I was soooo excited that day. I tought him a few tricks like, sit, stay, come, belly-up, turn around, stand, roll over, paw shake, and working on smile, lol. He's very smart and at times disobedient when he wants it his way, lol He loves wearing shirts, he gets excited when I dress him and whenever I'm grabbing his leash cuz he knows it means we're going to go on a walk.

I also have a female Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Naomi. We got her when she was a year old from a breeder from Oklahoma. She wasn't potty trained, they really didn't give her a name, they had her outside most of time. But I'm glad I got her, she's very smart. She caught on very quickly to the potty training. She gets along with my other dogs. She is really a sweetheart. She's very calm, total opposite of Kupo. Naomi likes to wear clothes, enjoys going on walks. I love it that I can take her potty in the front yard without a leash and she won't go wandering off, unlike Kupo, I guess you can say she is more obedient than Kupo. She will be 2 years old this May.

At 5:11pm on June 10, 2009, Juneaux and Maximus said…: so i think that new park in mcallen is opening in a couple of months or so, i think. i would love to get together there soon, or when it opens right, lol! we can invite all the local mycorgi members and in advance try to set a date to get together there. just wanted to let you know that max is doing good--he's such a big boy, and i think the excited pee has gotten a little better, lol! oh, and we're adopting a 3 yr old basset. we should be getting him in a couple of days or so, so hopefully him and max become friends:) still not sure when we're getting another corgi:( juni's breeder is having puppies soon, but i'm not sure if we're getting a female. anywho, hope you and the fam, and the babies are doing well!

3rd Annual Kite Festival & Dog Fair

The San Antonio Friends of the Parks, an affiliate membership organization of the San Antonio Parks Foundation produces the Annual Kite Festival and Dog Fair, “A Fest of Tails” to celebrate the arrival of spring and family fun in the park. The Third Annual free event takes place Saturday, March 21st, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at McAllister Park, near the Starcrest entrance, and welcomes kite and dog enthusiasts and spectators from near and far. The event will showcase live music, arts and crafts, dogs of all sizes and breeds, and a sky full of kites! Everyone, young and old, is encouraged to bring a blanket and lawn chair to watch the spectacular air show, or favorite kite and participate in the community flying exhibition. Kites will also be available for purchase at the Festival.

While looking up at the sky, don’t forget to look down at the third annual Dog Fair. You won’t want to miss the popular pooch parade with prizes awarded for ‘best dressed dog.’ Be sure to bring your pooch in their favorite costume and enjoy the 1 1/2 acre fenced dog park. Information on pet registration and pet adoption services will be available and pet supply vendors will be on hand.

In case of rain the event will be held Saturday, March 28, same location, same time.
