Welcome Allyson; I'm so sorry about Java. My Bruce (a corgi/elkhound mix) is 16 and has had compromised kidney function for a couple years now. He's holding up well so far on the vet-prescribed diet. Hopefully the folks on this site will be a good resource to finding a new corgi to share your life.
