About Me:: I have a 4 yr old corgi. My first and only. I would love to have a herd of corgis but Scooter Pants is a spoiled only child. I'm a Project Manager in the construction of ethanol plants & my husband works in the petro chemical industry. I'm originally from Iowa. My husband is an Okie, we also have a home just north of OKC.We have one adult daughter so Scooter Pants is our baby!!! I love corgis...I love all animals! I don't log in very often so please don't think me rude if you don't hear back from me right away.

About My Corgi(s):: He is a 4 yr old tri color. His name is Sgt. Scooter Pants. He LOVES boating and the water. He packs on weight during the winter(don't we all?) but he loses his weight swimming in the summer months...I do not :)

Looking for a corgi rescue in my area

We're thinking about getting another Corgi. We live by Wichita, KS. We would like to rescue a corgi not buy from a breeder. We are looking for a female. Sgt. Scooter Pants is a male and we're thinking a female might be better. We would be willing to travel some distance.

At 10:07am on July 22, 2008, Phog's Mama said…: Thanks for the compliment. Phog is called a Blue Merle because of her coloring. Gardner is about 45 minutes south on I-35 from Kansas City. I don't know of any Corgi clubs in the area. A lot of people in the Kansas City area are not familiar with Corgis. When I take her to the dog park they always think she is a Blue Heeler. Your Scooter is handsome. Those are some great pictures!
