Thanks for the website! I have been to another one that was very helpful, but not this one. The yahoo group wheelcorgis is also very helpful,, they are mostly DM dogs, though.
Thank you for the friend request. I keep looking at the ears on Amos and just laugh! I forget what puppy ears are like - our two have such different size ears, Lucky must have had very large ears as a pup because he has big ears! They are actually quiet this morning, cat got out and Lucky actually CHASED her when she ran in scared so he was in trouble (I should have rejoiced he was running!) Went right back to seal walking after, guess when excited, IVDD dogs have a little get up and go - I will have to ask.
My parents are both from ILL, one from North, one from South met in the middle at school, so I am familiar with your summer weather! At least when we heat up at my house, it is dry heat, no humidity! It has been so long since we had a pup, it is hard to remember that jubuliant bouncy stage, between puppy and weather you must be exhausted! My two 9 yr olds tire me out, its not quite 7 AM and they are out barking at the deer, no close neighbors, but we we someone staying in a RV down by the barn and my parents are here and I don't want company to wake up before they are ready! Good luck with your pup!
Welcome Cathy and Amos the Energizer Alligator! He is adorable. Little boy corgis sure are full of vim and vinegar, so to speak! I remember when Odie and Lucky were young and so full of life, I still have piecies of projects that were destroyed in their playing. Carol, Lucky and Sonny
I keep meaning to see if my cousin knows about this site, guess I'd better get her informed. Like you say I'm sure you have the lil guy you're meant to have just sorry you had to go so long and far to find him! I'm thinking Amos must be like Cooper "All Boy"! Good luck and have fun! Looking forward to more pics...Take care...L
Welcome Cathy and Amos! Small world Cathy! Though I live in Indiana & have most of my life I was born in Tuscola IL. as were both of my babies! They came from my cousin who breeds & shows Corgis from there. I shall always consider Tuscola my hometown! Amos is sure a cutie but I can also imagine where the Energizer Alligator comes from. Best wishes to you both. Lori, Callie & Cooper
