About Me:
I was born in Connecticut and moved to California 25+ years ago. I am a commercial insurance broker, and have been in the insurance industry for 20 years. My husband and I have one son, and one beautiful 10 year old grandson. We have a large backyard in a very quiet family oriented neighborhood for dogs to enjoy.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Before I met my husband, he adopted Max who was a Sheltie Corgi mix when he was about 3 years old. Max had been abused, but with the patience and love my husband gave him, he beame a trusting loyal dog in a very short period of time. After we married and moved in to our house, Max never left my side He was a wonderful, loving dog. I never had a dog before Max, and after a day with him, I couldn't believe what I had been missing! After Max passed on, we adopted a 3 month old Tri Color Fluff Corgi who we named Dexter. Dexter was just a wonderful little guy. He went everywhere with us, he enjoyed so much going on vacation to Tahoe with us, where he would run on the beach and everyone fell in love with him. We actually had people ask us if they could take a picture with him, and Dexter was always more than happy to do so!!! Once we were in Carmel and we couldn't even walk a block without cars honking and waving at him. He was just a joy! Unfortunately, last April, after almost 15 years, we had to put Dexter down. After taking some time, my husband and I are now thinking about adopting another Corgi, and we hope this website can help us with our search. We look forward to opening our hearts and home to a new little guy that can become a part of our family.

Hi Cathy from Napa.We know exactly how you feel after having one of these great dogs passing on.I grew up with a corgi who lived to be 18.After our marriage and returning to ca.,

we found 2 corgis to fit in our family along with our 2 kids.Those 2 were amazing!!We lost Kelly at 16 and Cory at 18.After their loss,we just couldn't get corgis again.It hurt too much!!We were away from the breed for 15 years,then the kids grew up-and back to corgis!!We have a travel tralior and they are the perfect size to travel with!!
