After two shelties (lovely and loveable, but fragile and neurotic) we wanted a dog that acted like a big dog and was strong. Researched, and decided to rescue a two year old girl (really lucky she was so young!). I am a writer living in San Antonio - my husband is self employed so home with her all day, most days. I love her dearly! Her name is Bree, after the Welsh Saint Bridget.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Bree has one brown eye, one blue. She didn't look like other corgis to me - leaner. And she's very FAST. The vet says she's the way corgis were in Wales when they herded, and before they started being bred for certain characteristics. She loves young women (I think one of her previous home must have had a young woman who was good to her), less fond of men, but my husband won her over after a few months of love. She is NOT good with other dogs - dog park is OUT and I have to be sure the screen door is closed tight. She's a talker, and loves her toys, most of the time.
