- I just lost my girl, Shelby, a pembroke, to lymphoma after being in remission for almost 5 years. I have a boy, Harley, also a pem. He is the clown of our family, and loves to retrieve, get the paper, take recycling to the bin, and gets dirty clothes out from under my kids' beds. He is the best dog I've ever had.
