Midgie was our first corgi. We had a pretty good idea when we rescued her, that we would love the breed. But we did not know just how much she would steal our hearts. We lost her to cancer in Nov '09. She was only seven and we are still heartbroken. We're planning on buying a puppy this time, in the spring.

Welcome. So sorry about your loss. We too lost a beloved corgi (Lexi) to cancer (lymphosarcoma) at age 4. :( We now have our lil Jack who helped ease the pain and is the love of our lives. Lexi is gone... but never forgotten.
