I have lived in Chicago since 1980, and have lived in the Uptown area since 2003. The diversity of the area makes it very interesting, and I'm continually amazed at the number of dogs here! I like to cook, spend time with the dogs, go to the theater/movies/opera. I'm a RN by profession, currently in academic administration.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
My Cardigan is Alex and he was born October 28, 2006. He came from a breeder in Oregon, IL. I would describe Alex's personality as a frat boy type. He's always (and I do mean ALWAYS) up for a good time and wants to party, party, party. A sweeter and more fun-loving dog you'll never meet.
Elizabeth came to me from a rescue home near Galena, IL. We're not exactly sure when she was born, but I have designated her birthday as July 15th, 2006. It's the closest the Vet and I could come. When I first got her, she had a submissive urination problem, but she's over that now. She is such a loving and sweet dog. Very friendly to people, but a bit weary of other dogs, and always wants to be the boss. She tries to boss Alex around, but he pretty much ignores her. They get along great. Both love to wrestle and play tag. Our favorite game is playing ball. I throw the ball, Alex chases the ball, and Elizabeth chases Alex!
I have:
Both Pembroke and Cardigan

Now we go to Hoyne Park over by Damen and Wrightwood. I started going there recently since the dogs are a bit friendlier, and there is a rumor that there are 2 corgi's that go there... we just haven't seen them!
