I live in a house with 2 acres of property and beautiful private park with 6 miles of trails behind me. I frequent this with my dogs who can run free and just enjoy romping. My job allows me to be home quite a bit and have flexibility. I am self employed. In the house with me are 2 of my 3 children ages 12 and 16, 3 Welsh Corgi's and a guinea pig. I don't have a lot of spare time but am a CASA/GAL Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected kids. Though it's volunteer I am very passionate about it and the rewards are incredible.

About My Corgi(s):
After losing my beloved Chow Chow of 14 yrs,10 years I had long since begun investigating the Welsh Corgi. I knew it was the breed for me! I had the first pick from a litter of 10 and what a handsome tri boy I have. 7 months after having him I decided he was such an easy dog with training etc. and wanted another one for his company. The particular mother I wanted a puppy from was to deliver her last litter before she retired so my name went on a list. I was number 5 on this list. She delivered 3 puppies, 2 of which did not survive. Before she was born people had dropped off the list one at a time for whatever reason leaving me to have her to myslef! What a prized little girl I have indeed. Not only was she the only survivor of the litter but she was born on my birthday! What fate. This beautifl sable/white gets along great with my tri male. He is now 9. She turns 9 in July. Another almost all black corgi was offered to me for a good home. Not sure how he would blend in I agreed to take him from his neglectful atmosphere even if it was to find him a suitable home. His goofy personality has been his saving grace and gets along beautifully with the other 2. He will be turning 6 in February and we have had him over 2 yrs now. He's attached at my hip and craves love which they all get plenty of. I am a Corgi owner for life. This breed has been the best for me and my kids. Perfecct size, disposition, personalities etc. They are entertainingin but will defend their territory whether it be the property or car. My oldest male will get in between me and a strange dog if we are uncertain about it. How I love my pups!
I have:
