I am currently getting my master's in Special Education at the University of South Alabama. I finished my undergrad at USA with a degree in Special Education. Since my senior year of highshooI had one dog named Cracker. He is half chihuahua and pomeranian. I had no plans of getting another dog. However, I would always window dog shop by going to Petsmart, ASPA adoptions, and the Flea market. Cracker does not get along with other dogs so I never had any plans to adopt. I had to ability to hold dogs and play with them but never take them home.
However, one day at the Flea market I saw a bunch of Pembrooke Welsh Corgi pups. You usually don't see Corgi pups anywhere. So I picked one up hugged and played with it. Then I put her down and walked away. It was strange because I wanted to go back and get that dog. I have never had this feeling before. Needless to say, I got her and named her Chloe.
I currently have two babies in my life - Cracker and Chloe.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Chloe was born on April 14, 2009. She is sweet, compassionate, stubborn, and crazy. Chloe truly loves eveybody she comes in contact with. If I was robbed I think Chloe would greet the robber and Cracker would attack him.
However, training Chloe was a diffcult task. Cracker was a breeze and she was my problem child. She went to training classes at Petsmart for both Beginners and Intermediate. I am very pleased with the results. BUT she still is crazy, compassionate, and stubborn JUST TRAINABLE.
Welcome Jackie and Chloe and Cracker. Just keep working with Chloe, she is still young and the "teenage years" are yet to come, but then they come out of it and are beautiful rational creatures :)
