Have had 2 Pembroke Corgis and enjoy this breed very much. My current Pembroke was given to me by someone who needed to rehome her. She is wonderful and the two of us have become inseparable. We go on all kinds of adventures together and she is just a wonderful companion.

My first Corgi, her name was Josie, was the light of my life. Unfortunately, she passed away very suddenly in 2012. She and my golden retriever were like sisters and it was very difficult losing her on both of us. I currently own Dallie, a 10 yr. old female, given to me by someone who knew I was looking for another Corgi, but was mostly interested in rescue, rather than getting another puppy. Dallie is a hoot....for her age, she has a lot of energy, tho she could stand to loose a few pounds! We are working on that currently.
