That time of season is here again, and may I say that here in Iowa, we are CRAZY for our Hawkeyes! This year we are totally ready...as you can see, we have some of our team in tip-top shape and ready to play! Seanna is our linebacker, and Jackson our quarterback.
GO HAWKS!!…

I am absolutely on cloud nine. My husband and I have wanted to find a house on some acreage for years. Unfortunately, we can only be 10 miles from our city due to my husband's work requirements (he's a fireman). Periodically we go driving around in the country just looking to see if there are any good deals....
Sunday we went to go look at an acreage. It was a run down old farm house that would have needed tons of work--we kept driving and found totally by accident a new…

We just got home with Jackson, and WOW...things are going GREAT!! He did absolutely awesome on the way home, slept probably half of the time and destroyed his purple dinosaur that Jane gave him for the ride home the rest of the time. We stopped to potty, but I think he was too scared to do anything. Seanna and Sage have welcomed him into the pack without any grumpiness at all--although I think at times he's still a little overwhelmed with Sage's…

So Jackson got a horse? I can't wait to hear more. I'll never forget his 1st chicken chase but luckily the chicken recovered with only a minor injury!
Hi, Jennifer. I sent you a message. Thanks.
Have a wonderful birthday Jennifer:)
Happy Birthday, Jennifer! Hope you have an awesome day and then wonderful rest of the year! <3 Love and Corgi hugs from Ziggy and I!
LOL. It's been so long since I asked and you answered that I had no clue what you were responding to. But, duh, I finally figured it out. I thought that your profile photo was your Corgi and I wondered how you got that photo, I believe you're saying that it's not your Corgi or photo but a pic you found online. It's hilarious & probably PhotoShopped.
Thanks for getting back to me. I often leave this site for weeks. Wendy
Hi, Stephanie here of Champaign, IL.
I am afraid I got something wrong in that I listed you as being the one who put together the picnic in Freeport, IL. That was cancelled due to weather. I was trying to get in touch with the person who arranged it. Can't find the thread on it anymore. I'm not very good at this forum thing.
Do you remember who organized that event which was to be held this past weekend? I thought the link would still be up on the website, but it appears to have disappeared or I just can't find it.
I wanted to find out where to send a donation to that rescue organization for which the picnic was being held. Any help you can give will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Stephanie Phillips
LOL. How'd you get that profile photo? Just hilarious!
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for your kind words. And yes there should be some kind of law against this kind of cruelty but if I am not so sure I want to continue to pursue this because I am afraid I won't get past it and begin to heal. I of course alerted all of my neighbors who have dogs and walk them. So I did take satisfaction in that.
Anyway this picture of your puppy. Is she standing against the wall? How did you take this picture. It is adorable.
Things are getting a lot better. He is showing me much more affection and has learned "sit" and to go get his toy, bring it to me and drop it, so I know he is a smart little guy. He just refuses the walking with me trick. He likes to just stop and stare at me.
Thank you so much for your concern and offering to help rather than bash me for being a bit overwhelmed. I will wait until he gets better to think he may be crazy...It's all just been one bad thing after another for this poor lil man.
Where's the newest babe's pic??????
Thanks Jackson, I was just telling people how great your last pic looked with Amber.
The reason for my surgery was a badly broken finger from breaking up a dog fight between Bella and Livvy:(
Is Jackson a fluff? He is such a pretty fellow.
Hi!
just wondering if you've heard from many people about next weekend?
Hi Jennifer, now that the weather is getting better, would it be a good time to start planning a meetup at the Thornberry Dog Park? Maybe after Easter?
Hi Jennifer, thanks for resonding to my post. I'm just figuring out this site, and either pert of your comment was cut off or I'm doing something wrong, lol. But it cuts off after "you can try the" and I would like to read about what I can try!
Wow, he does look like Dillon! I thought Kiki was a dachshund mix, but maybe he's not! In any case, he is such a special dog, and I feel so lucky to have found him.
