- About Me:
- I have 2 Cardigans. Owen is my Blue Merle. He was born April 7, 2007. After I lost my first Corgi, I put out feelers for getting another in a year or so. That thought process lasted 2 weeks at best. A breeder contacted me regarding a Blue Merle male that she was selling as a pet. I fell in love instantly. We went to pick him up one weekend and after driving 8 hours, we wanted to visit, go get some dinner and sleep. As we drove away from that visit, Owen looked at us wondering why we weren't taking him with us. I knew he was truly meant to be ours. EARLY the next morning, we did just that. Owen spent his first few years with cats and I often think he thinks he is a cat. He is very aloof and independent. Not a snuggler, not affetionate, but a very good boy.
2 1/2 years later, we decided to get Owen's half brother Dewey, a black and white little guy with so much spunk. He is such a character. ALL CORGI! They both make me laugh every day. I love them to pieces.
