Hi Kate. Welcome. I am also a Corgi convert although my mine is a mixed breed.
She does act like 100% Corgi though. lol.
Have you ever tried using a seat harness? I notice you are using a leash. A harness will secure Harper in case of a sudden stop.
My Tipper refuses to ride in a crate or soft case and she will only ride in the front seat so I bought here a seat harness to keep her safe and to prevent her from distracting me while I drive. It's a great investment and will keep Harper safe and secure!
