Born and raised in Va. Beach, Va.Moved to Minnesota in 1970...a hundred years ago!! Not liking it much this year, as we have had a lot of snow and cold and wind!!UGH!!
As a small child...(a hundred years ago)In Virginia, I lived in town and drug home anything with fur, feathers or fins.My momma often said"Laura nobodys gonna want you with all your critters". Well it turned out she was wrong...I married another critter person and live happily ever after! Most of the time!Ha!No, in all Honesty I have been so very blessed...blessed to the point it sometimes makes me cry.
My husband shares my passion for my animals, we have a beautiful faucility that we built in 1999 and are able to live right here in the barn, horses on one side , Cardigans on the other. At one time we were heavey into breeding and showing Paint and Quarter horses, having a state of the art stallion station, where we did artifical insemmination, shipped semen. We showed horses at the world level.
I started with the pems many years ago, but found I liked the Cardigans a bit better(no offense to anyone) I have 15 with grannies, gramps and the young show stock coming up.Its one heck of alot of work here, but like its said ,if you love something and enjoy doing it , its not work.so there you go...a little bit about me.
I have 7 Champions, Mostly have tri's and blue merles. We have several litters a year and sometimes have young adults available. Right now I have a gorgeous black tri male that needs a different zip code. His name is "Gibbs" and I love him to pieces, He has 1 point in conformation, but really just loves being at home and not at the show. Does have a bit of herding desire, would love it on a farm, or cuddled at your feet in your home.
I have:

Nice to see more cardigans here. I see that you have a connection to Sharon at Notts Kennel. Our girl came from there. We got her last Feb and she had just turned 2. Would love to see more pictures of you dogs. Le-Le's father is King George. Le-Le is a great, sweet girl and we are so happy with her. Are any of yours shy? If so do you have any suggestions to help with that.
Hi Laura!! How do you like the site?? Check out my blog "Josie is a HOOT"! She is doing wonderfully - she has REALLY come out of her shell! Maci (boxer) is still on leash only, gums turn blue every time she goes out to run. I am calling Purdue tomorrow to set up a cardiology consult. This crazy life, huh?? Love your pics! Stay in touch!
Welcome! I too adore Cardis (though Pems are dolls too). I especially love the blue merles. We've had our blue merle boy for 2 months now and he's such a joy, even when he's being a brat. :) I'd love to see more pictures of your Cardis. I'll have to check out your website when I get a chance.
