I teach, read, write, travel, explore and run with Corgis. There is very little that I do not find of interest and I rarelly get bored. I was born in Cuba, English is my second language. I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. At this time, my household consists of myself, my husband, a daughter and a Pembroke Corgi.
About My Corgi(s):
Niki Nikolai is a tri color male DOB 11/26/07. We got him at 7 months. He is a petstore rescue. Niki is smart and making up for lost time. He is currently the only Corgi in the neighborhood. People are generally not aware of this breed and mistake him for other herders and, occasionallly, for a terrier. Niki is very friendly and loves to explore.
My mum always said not to bath our corgis too much, only once a year. Well I didn't listen to that of course. I bath Bilco once a month. I hate it when he gets dirty and his white fur turns grey (we live in Scotland and it rains alot). He loves the hairdryer and he looks so handsome once he is all brushed and dried. I don't use special doggy shampoo either. I use tea tree shampoo and then tea tree conditioner and it makes his coat lovely and smooth. So there you go.
