- Hey everyone! I'm a recent art college graduate who fell in love with the Corgi Breed. I now own my first Corgie and boy-howdy! Is the learning curve steep. I'm hoping I can come to you guys for some help.
But I ADORE this breed, their happy faces, eager-to-please nature and funny antics are so much fun! I'm happy to be Corgi's mommy!

- As of March 2013, I have a 9 month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgie named Westly. (misspelled on purpose) He is neutered and has all his shots. (yay!)
He's a loving little guy, and I know he's eager to please...the problem is he's just so darn dominant. And I guess my personality type is just so not... and boy does he LOVE to move move move move!
I love him but at the same time sometimes I find him to be very, very stubborn and pig-headed. I'm hoping you guys can help me create in him a model doggie citizen.
He loves to play bite and show that he is tough stuff. He's getting better at not doing this so often but... he is most definitely a work in progress...
He's very very smart, as most corgis are, and has learned the basics like "Lay Down, and Sit" very easily. Sometimes when he wants something he automatically does it, expecting a reward. It makes me chuckle.
