About Me:
I just lost my corgi and am interested in getting another female adult corgi. When I adopt an animal (whether dog or cat), I consider it a lifetime commitment.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
I rescued my corgi. She was terribly overweight (53 lbs.), and I managed to reduce her weight by 15 lbs. in a year and a half. I put her on a very good diet, had an mammary tumor removed and her teeth were so bad that I had to have (5) teeth extracted. I loved my corgi. I have never had a dog so completely devoted and loving to me.
I have:
No corgi

Hi Pam! I am sorry that you lost your corgi. It sounds like you had a wonderful relationship with her. Thank you for rescuing her and giving her a great life! I am particularly fond of rescue corgis myself. Both of mine were adopted. I hope that being a member of mycorgi helps you decide whether you're ready for another corgibaby. There are some great corgis and owners on this board.

You're right about lifetime commitment. . .I've spent a total of $13,000 on a Daisy (Tri-Color) since February who is a rescue. She's been in the hospital again since Sunday but good news today. . .her fever has come down from 105 to 101. . .I hope to be able to bring her home today or tomorrow. I'm sure the bill will be over $15,000 after this hospital stay. . .but she's worth it. From the first week I got her it seems all her medical problems started. I'll do whatever it takes to keep her alive. She is a sweetheart. . . .

That is so cool you might be getting another fur-baby. . .can't wait to see pix. . . . .
