- I have second Corgi. My first one had problems at ate five with autoimmune degenerative arthritis and had to be put down at age 7. It broke my heart. My second Corgi (both are Pembroke Welsh) is 12 and last October (2012) she developed issues with her back legs, especially the left one. My vet tried Prednisone, no help, laser treatments, no help. I saw a neurologist and he was confident that Cassie had DM. It has progressed to both back legs. She is the sweetest and most precious little Corgi. She is down to 17 lbs. I have been debating daily about a cart or putting her down. I just can not afford a cart. Tonight I was looking on Craigslist and found not information. I goggled corgi in carts and found this site. I am so thrilled. I am a school nurse and have three grown children.

Hi Mary,
I see you are in Overland Park, KS...I live in Independence,Mo and have a 10 1/2 year old Corgi named Blaze. Sorry to hear of Cassie's struggles health wise. Blaze is about to lose his eye due to a cancerous tumor so I know how you feel. Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" Hope things are going okay for you guys.
