Avid dog lover and corgi aficionado. Have had Pembrokes since I was three!
Below are pictures of Oliver, our sable, who brought us love and joy for 15 years before going home to heaven in November, 2007.

About My Corgi(s):
My family adopted a beautiful rescue corgi in July. Buddy came from a young couple in Boise who dropped him off at the rescue corgi while on a road trip through Portland. The story is that they got him from an elderly woman who had to give him up when she moved into a rest home.
Buddy, whose new name is now Teddy Buddy ( we also call him"teddy bear"), was very shy and fearful of others at first. It was evident that he had been the victim of emotional abuse from his last owners. Over the past few months our love and nurturing has led him to feel more secure in his new home. He is now a strong and proud member of the family.
It is something that we're working on, when we first started the site, we didn't want to be intrusive and forgo the state / city information, in the mean time you can check out the map and join the portland meetup group. There's a huge corgi population in portland.
my hubby and I are planning to move up your way (washington state) in a few years. Good to know they still have great taste in dogs up there ;) Welcome!!!
