Well, I don't have a Corgi yet. I've never even had a dog! I've been a cat person all my life but I really want a companion to take ME for walks on a regular basis. This is sure to be quite the adventure...
Welcome Nancy and congrats on deciding on a corgi. I've found that, for the most part, corgis and cats seem to get along well. Of course it will depend on both the corgi's and the kitty's personalities. Sidney loves and respects our older cat, but loves to chase and torment the younger cat...not in a hostile way, but in a playful way. If you have questions, please post them in the "discussions" thread and you will get plenty of advice.
Could somebody tell me how many shots a puppy needs? I've been told that the puppy I'm interested in will have his "first shots" by the time I take him home, but how many more will he have to have? Are they expensive?

Thanks, Adrienne! Any suggestions on how to introduce my future Corgi puppy to my cat so that they get along? I realize there are no guarantees, but I want to try to make them friends.
By the way, is that your puppy in the picture? He's really cute!
