- Darwin was a Mother's Day present. Weren't really looking for a new dog, was on the hunt for a new purse. We found him at a local pet store. He had broken one of his hind legs and no one would take him, so by the time we got there he was already 5 months old. We missed the fluffy puppy phase with him, but haven't missed anything else. He is the best dog! Travels to track meets and loves to bark when the phone rings.
