About Me:

I have been an animal lover all my life, often embarrassing my family by calling, "hi" to the folks who opened the door when I went visiting as I dashed to look for anything with. Preferably a dog or horse.

I know live with 1 beautiful 11 yo fluffy Pembroke Welsh Corgi and an even dozen ferrets (2 of which I am baby sitting).

I love to read, garden, play with my fur kids, knit, and crochet. You'll see nothing positive about my housekeeping skills beyond necessary germ removal (in other words, I have lots of books, puzzles, and collectibles).

About My Corgi(s):

I only have one corgi. The 11 yo fluff I mentioned above. Her full name is Springmill Tegan Ambrosia. She if very quiet except for contact barking or guard barking (coming to door, not just something on the sidewalk unless I am out with her). I have taken her to Puppy Class, Obedience, Advanced Obedience (boring!), and Agility (fun, fun, fun). She's great company when she chooses to be, but likes to go off by herself sometimes to sleep.

Tegan is a diva. The work revolves around her. Don't tell her it's not true, she won't believe you.

The thing I have the most pride in is that she is still only 18 lbs. 7 oz. like she was a year old. There were a couple spikes in there but I straightened out the feeding problems and got her weight back to normal. The vet is thrilled with her weight and general health (as of a month ago)... good food (little to no grains), exercise in our fenced in yard (I am bad on my legs so our walking is limited, sigh), grooming, cuddling, and keeping things fresh and new for her keep me depression for the most part.

She's a good girl for the most part, but she still insists in pooping in the house (in the morning AFTER she's been out).
