- We have a female Pembroke born 7/16/02 named Carmella, but we call her Cammi. I am ashamed to admit that we got her from a pet shop, but we also feel like we rescued her because she was extremely sick and I fully believe that the store would have just destroyed her rather than bear the expense of making her well. She was a bit aloof at first but has become extremely loving and very attached to us, and we to her.
