I just had to send my beloved Thistle across the rainbow bridge. She was 13.8 years old and had DM for the last three. She developed an infection and was very sick, not responding to antibiotics.
I feel horrible and feel like I should have done better for her. I didn't do my job well enough since she shouldn't have gotten that infection.
